Handcrafted by The Superior Labor, this is the engineer bag - in miniature key case form. Previously made with the same canvas as the engineer bag, it returns in an all-leather version that is built to last even longer.
About the leather - Japanese Globe Leather
Made from Japanese globe leather, originally developed for use in baseball gloves. It combines durability, suppleness, and lightness, with excellent resistance to wear. The leather uses a "through-dyeing" technique where dye penetrates all the way to the core, resulting in rich, vibrant color. A special oil finish gives it a smooth, slightly supple feel with a light, springy texture that becomes more comfortable with use.

The Superior Labor is a Japanese leather goods brand founded in 2007 by Makoto Kawai. Based in the countryside of Okayama, their atelier is housed in a renovated schoolhouse deep in the mountains. Working with a small team, they craft bags, leather goods, and everyday tools by hand, with an emphasis on quality materials, honest construction, and objects that grow more beautiful with use.
Leather
This product is made from natural leather. While we avoid using leather with tears or splits, natural marks and wrinkles are part of the material's character and may be present in the finished product. Please also note that color, thickness, and texture may vary between individual pieces. Please be aware of water stains and color transfer caused by moisture.
Brass
Due to the nature of brass, some tarnishing may occur during the manufacturing process.
As solid brass is used, further tarnishing will develop with use over time - please enjoy this as part of the material's natural aging. To remove tarnish from brass parts, use a silver polishing cloth. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
